If you’re not a fan of Tyler, Earl, Hodgy, Domo and the rest of the Odd Future crew, you really should give them another try.  In 2008, they released The Odd Future Tape. It was recorded with a camera microphone and made available for free on the internet. A couple mix tapes, an album, and many solo releases later, this young rap collective from LA is stronger than ever. Here’s a playlist containing some of my favourite tracks. Give them another try.

However, an extremely short but amazing track from Earl has surfaced, and it’ll have you begging for more. Less than a minute long, ’45’ features some hazy, half-drunk production and fierce battle rap-type spittin.’ It’s just a taste of a what will eventually be a sophomore effort, I’m sure.
