As times passed and interests changed, I will admit that my love for future house began to die out. The genre became mainstream and every Tom, Dick and Harry was trying to imitate Tchami and Oliver Heldens’ signature sounds, before quickly saturating it and bringing it to where it is today. However, there are still a few artists that I never stopped following from those early days, and perhaps the most versatile and consistent among these is Odd Mob.

If my memory serves me correctly, I believe the first Odd Mob track I ever heard was his ‘Kuaga‘ remix. Every single one of his (their at the time) remixes and originals would henceforth be featured in Heldeep Radio until I stopped listening, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was still the case. However, the track that stuck with me the most and that I still gets me going to this day is his remix for Mike Metro & Stahsi’s ‘In The Dark’.
