UZ has put out some incredible music this year, and that streak is set to continue. Having just announced that his Layers LP is on the way, he follows up his collaboration with vocalist GIA with ‘Bad Gurlz’ – another epic track.

Drenched in darkly atmospheric vibes, this single has been made in partnership with rapper OG Maco, who brings a real edge to proceedings. His sharply tongued bars sit over long, drawn out chords on the intro, snatches of percussion and syncopated melodic bleeps.

With distinctive hip-hop feels running throughout, ‘Bad Gurlz’ really has our attention. You can get it here.

Rising Atlanta rappers Rome Fortune and OG Maco collide once again for a 9 track EP, simply titled Yep. Although both are equally as odd, the two bring completely different musical elements to the record. Rome’s distant lyrical romanticism and Maco’s loud exclamations combine with progressive production to complete the unique sound.
