]]> London based production genius and sound design pioneer OZZIE has managed to avoid the direct spotlight of the music industry, even despite noteworthy contributions to the foundation and evolution of the minimalist style of ‘UK trap’. An arsenal of solo releases nearly bursting at the seams paved the way for the first official album release from the Brighton-native in June of 2017 titled Colours, which beautifully blends hip-hop and R&B with OZZIE’s coveted attention to production.

Today we revisit a staple track from his extensive library of remixes titled ‘XO’, which comes brimming with astounding waves of overwhelming, immersive bass and the sensational melody from Ty Dolla $ign & The Weeknd’s ‘Or Nah’ and vocal accompaniment of Kanye West’s ‘Love Lockdown’. An ingenious pairing of styles, ‘XO’ demonstrates yet again the creative proficiency that allows OZZIE to coherently blend genres so effortlessly.
