Paper Diamond Announces the Rain Drops Tour and Previews Unreleased Music

If you’ve been paying attention then you know who Paper Diamond is. The Colorado raised and California based producer has been consistently putting out some great tunes. With his stellar 2014 coming to a close, the homie Paper Diamond is prepping to start 2015 with a bang. After careful planning and preparation PD announced his Rain Drops Tour featuring what he says is “the most insane touring rig” he has ever had with him on the road. The Rain Drops Tour will hit 32 venues across the US starting with Birmingham, Alabama on January 14th 2015. But don’t get it twisted, this isn’t some regular tour – Paper Diamond is setting out to create an experience for the fans. With new melodies and captivating visuals the Rain Drops Experience will feature tunes from the past, present and lead into new material from his upcoming Rain Drops EP. In anticipation of the upcoming tour Paper Diamond also dropped a preview of an unreleased joint entitled ‘Take Me Away‘ which features a sexy vocal sample, melodic synths and crazy bass. Tinashe feat. ScHoolboy Q – 2 On (Paper Diamond Remix)

When a track dominates the music industry as much as Tinashe’s ‘2 On’ did, you are bound to come across a slew of remixes. Rarely do those remixes stand out and rise above the bunch to become something of their own. Drake and OB O’Brien managed to do this but majority of the tune remained the same. Colorado’s own Paper Diamond recently dropped his take on the track that broke Tinashe’s career. This remix features a whole different drum pattern and melody. The rhythm really brings this track back to life (considering its been played to death) and the mix of what sounds like a reverb-ed 16-bit sample and Tinashe’s sexy vocals make the track a great dance tune.
