Major Lazer are no strangers to topping charts and creating summer time hits. Four weeks into 2017 and they’ve already dropped what will likely be a big time summer smash. Continuing with their signature fusion of electronic and Caribbean sounds, ‘Run Up’ features PND on two verses and the hook while Nicki takes on the last verse. PND sounds great on the track and its clear he’s ready to make an impact on the pop scene (get your money, Party – we ain’t mad). Check out the track below or the lyric video above.

PARTYNEXTDOOR returns with ‘Not Nice’ and P3 Release Date

The OVO crooner is back with another certified hit. ‘Not Nice’ comes off of the highly anticipated P3 which is PARTY’s third effort since signing with Drake’s label. Continuing with the dancehall influence that OVO has been running with and bringing to the forefront, PND address all the rudegyal’s. With P3 set to drop August 12th you can bet we’re going to be hearing more from the Sauga city kid soon.

PARTYNEXTDOOR dropped his new single ‘Come and See Me’

PND has been keeping pretty quiet since wrapping up his tour for PARTYNEXTDOOR2. But around 3AM this morning, the OVO crooner dropped his new single titled ‘Come and See Me’ featuring OVO boss Drake. The single is in support of his next album PARTYNEXTDOOR3 (P3) which is slated to drop sometime this year. Produced by the sound master Noah “40” Shebib, ‘Come and See Me’ is not exactly what you might expect from PND. This track has more of a R&B and Soul vibe as compared to his previous Trap&B vibe, but still stays true to his sound with cadences in his vocals, lyrics and some hints in the production. It is definitely a good direction for the singer as it shows a great deal of maturity and evolution in his sound. Drake also provides a verse on this track, but both of these guys really shine in their own special way. Party finally seems to be developing a better sense of writing (though he is a pretty good songwriter as it is) and Drake really tightens up the latter half and gives the track the radio appeal it needs to propel PND into the mainstream. #tbt – PARTYNEXTDOOR – Persian Rugs (Falcons Bootleg)

A year and a half ago, OVO Sound artist Partynextdoor or PND for short – dropped a track on SoundCloud titled ‘Persian Rugs‘. The track was a mellow but seductive track featuring a chilled out beat and the usual PND style filtered singing and crooning. Soon after Falcons grabbed a hold of the track and gave it more life. The bootleg features snaps, hi-hats, a better sounding kick and snare combined with squeaking bed and water drop sound effects. He amplifies the sexiness ten fold and chops the vocals just enough to give the track a facelift. Check it out below.

PARTYNEXTDOOR drops off a New joint before the Album

New music from PND is always good and recently the OVO singer released a new freestyle titled ‘Kehlani’s Freestyle’. The song fuels the relationship rumours surrounding Oakland’s Kehlani and Toronto’s PARTYNEXTDOOR. The track features that sound from PND we’ve come to love and it is probably the most revealing track the artist has ever released with insight into an actual relationship with a up and coming public figure. This is a collaboration a lot of cats have been waiting for. Travis Scott tapped OVO’s PND and Cash Money’s Young Thug for this new joint titled ‘Nothing But Net’. Produced by Boi-1da, ‘Nothing But Net’ is a dark track with a dope drum arrangement, even with all the auto-tune. PND handles the hook while Thugger gets the first verse and Scott finishes off the track. With bars from Young Thug like “covered in green like a fucking iguana“, “sipping so long girl I’m pissing Cristal” from Travis and a hook that will have you singing “fuck that other side nigga, fuck that other side“, this track is destined to be the new late night anthem. Premiere: PARTYNEXTDOOR – Recognize ft. Drake (Vices Remix)

Coming straight out of Orlando, Florida the production duo Vices are responsible for some of the hottest Jersey Club tracks of 2014. From beautiful and melodic works (‘Wanna Luv U’ & ‘Loving You’) to hard hitting and gritty (‘Hannah Montana’ & ‘Hammertime’) everything they touch is gold. With that said, we are honored to premiere their latest, a remix of PARTYNEXTDOOR’s summer anthem ‘Recognize’. The track opens with cheery and inviting synth work. As they add in some snaps and bring in the familiar vocals things really start to take shape. When the hook comes in the beat drops into a sound that is reminiscent of the original with a futuristic and sexy twist. Don’t get too comfortable cause things switch up once again taking PND to Jersey with steady kicks, vocal chops, and more stunning synths. Drizzy makes a brief appearance while Vices deliver sunshine through your speakers. The Summer might be over but this track will have you feeling otherwise. P Reign – Realest In The City w/ PARTYNEXTDOOR and Meek Mill

The fans want Dear America, don’t let ’em wait. Now that the wait is over and the EP from Toronto’s own P Reign is available – P released his a single for fans to stream for free via SoundCloud. The track is a banger featuring a dope verse and infectious hook from crew-mate PARTYNEXTDOOR. PND’s “TWO” released earlier this summer and is still on heavy rotation in my car. This track feels a little different for a PND feature, but his contribution makes it that much better. P steps up second and raps effortlessly over the beat but the best thing to happen to this song comes in two third’s of the way through. Though Meek is still in jail for being in violation of his probation, hearing a new verse from the Philly rapper is amazing. Meek might not be the most lyrical rapper (though if you assess his previous battle scene joints, the kid can hang with some giants) but his energy on a track is unmatched.
