‘Left Hand’ Presents Diabolical Debut From Beast Coast

The latest hip-hop cerberus is composed of the groups Flatbush Zombies, Pro Era, and The Underachievers aka Beast Coast. This formation comes with the return of Joey Bada$$ and latest collaboration titled ‘Left Hand.’ It also comes with the announcement of a joint tour titled Escape From New York, that begins in July and runs through August. With all of this, Meechy Darko took to social media to tease a forthcoming Beast Coast album. As each group are Brooklyn based artists, it only made sense to put on for New York and the east coast by cordially joining forces.

‘Left Hand’ possesses a breathtaking total of nine MC’s laying down verses. Joey Bada$$, Meechy Darko, Zombie Juice, Erick Arc Elliott, Kirk Knight, Nyck Caution, CJ Fly, AK and Issa Gold each distribute unhinged bars. Meechy Darko of Flatbush Zombies handles the merciless hook before jumping into the first verse with Pro Era’s Nyck Caution. After this, members from each group battle it out in a friendly competition only pushing each other to come with their hottest lines. Joey Bada$$ and his homies collectively are Pro Era. These cats dropped the #SECCSTAPEVOL2 late last night. One thing about these young rappers is that they individually and collectively have some serious talent. The whole Pro Era sound is so 90’s and it really does feel nostalgic. The free stream, 7 track EP starts with Dessy Hinds “Chocolate Strawberries” and if this is your first time hearing this cat, you’ll definitely be impressed. Kirk Knight provides bars and production on this tape, and on one of the joints he handles both independently. “Pussy Facx” is very upbeat and has some funky synth-like instrumentation.
