In ‘Pull the Trigger’ Cammie Robinson’s raspy-raw and emotional vocals echo Flux’s daring and dynamic production style. This half of the double release is a demonstration on Flux’s widely appealing sound and style that still keeps true to electronic and bass music’s universals. There are plenty of swelling synths, and filthy percussions that rumble against the sweetness of Robinson’s voice.

On the other side is ‘Cut Me Out’ which is a bolder and slower beat. Collaborating for the second time with Flux since their 2013 ‘Mountains and Molehills’ is UK Indie rock act Turin Brakes. This pair hatched ‘Cut Me Out’ as a fresh, and full of funk type of response to a bad break up. It elicits feelings of a cocky confidence, of taunting some one with your happiness.
