Having a gloomy day? Well, have no fear because this new single from Rad Hatter and B-Dos will make you feel reborn. ‘Eucalyptus’ is a lush and powerful force. Combining the true nature of both musicians is a beautiful and inspirational boost of happiness. There’s no telling what elements you’ll hear next because every second is a surprise and a gift. The dynamic duo truly put everything they have into this piece.

Right from the get go, the introduction fills the listener with a feeling of mystery and curiosity. The glitch like tones and characteristics will take you away into Mother Nature’s soul. Her gorgeous essence and beauty is put on a throne through Rad Hatter and B-Dos’ creativity. As the build slowly forms, we hear some fun-filled percussion to hold us over until the big reveal. With a riser taking up the spotlight, it’s time to witness greatness they’re about to unfold.

Once the chorus drops, it’ll leave you full of emotion and respect. Bringing tears to the eye, they hit us with panned melodic leads, as well as some hardhitting drums to compliment the track as a whole. Just when you think it ends, they bring in even more frequencies to satisfy your craving. After, the breakdown comes in. Consisting of an orchestral atmosphere. Painting a picture of a field full of life and soul.

Then the second chorus hits. This time, it’s a different approach in terms of rhythm and sound choices. Which keeps the track moving and fresh. There’s never a dull moment. Only brand new elements to make you want more. And finally they leaves us off with the melody fading away by reverb. A beautiful goodbye.

There’s a lot more you can say about this track because it’s simply perfect. From beginning to end, you won’t want this feeling to go away. Both Rad Hatter and B-Dos continue to amaze their audience with their intricate thinking. Make sure to go support by streaming ‘Eucalyptus.’

Since adopting the moniker Tek Genesis about a year ago, the Sydney-based artist has embraced an experimental sound that has pushed the boundaries of bass music, earning the early support from some of the best in that category, Noisia. The Temp LP dating back to December 2019 was the first full body of work that fans got from Tek Genesis and it exceeded all expectations, combining bass ingenuity with emotional undertones unlike any other artist. Now, Temp is getting a second life in the form of a remix album, and continues on the path of innovation seen by Division Recordings and the artists featured in the ensemble.

Six of the original album’s eleven tracks have received a treatment from eight different artists who uniquely fall into the category of promising rising stars. If drum & bass is your cup of tea, dive into Rohaan’s take on ‘Cloud Kingdom Theme’ or Posij’s remix of ‘Cryostasis.’ If you’re looking for something a bit more ambient, Former’s rendition of ‘Petrichor’ and SUMII’s version of ‘Cloud Kingdom Theme’ are sure to put you at ease. The rest of the remixes fall somewhere between those two extremes while remaining under the broad umbrella of bass music, with personal favourites being Point Clare’s menacing take on ‘Amber’ and Jon Casey’s wicked halftime flip of ‘Raid.’ With Rad Hatter and Blake Skowron wrapping up the remix pack, fans of bass music will undoubtedly find a few tracks worth rinsing for weeks to come. Dive in to Temp Remixed below.

His short yet impressive discography displays a level of ingenuity that is rare, and every new release pushes this creativity to new heights.

Continuing to showcase how experimentation can lead to greatness, Rad Hatter is back with an eclectic original titled ‘Dream Death’ that is sure to inspire. The track is highly unconventional, as glitchy spurts of robotic sounds pummel your ears from the get go. Shortly after, a hyper-realistic trap beat takes the stage to send listeners into a craze before taking another one hundred and eighty degree turn. A majestic bridge catapults the second half of the track into a euphoric section filled with energy and emotion in a quintessential Rad Hatter fashion. From a metallic trap experiment to an enthusiastic future bass section, Rad Hatter has created an original banger in ‘Dream Death.’ Don’t miss it below.

While the old school, supersaw future bass has stagnated with originality in recent months, there are a handful of artists who are keeping the envelope of the genre alive by continuously pushing the style to unexplored territories. While everyone knows that Flume is at the head of the movement, smaller artists such as Quiet Bison are leading the charge in the underground and should not go unappreciated. Another name that recently caught our attention is Denver-based Rad Hatter, whose last few releases are worthy of just as much praise as any other.

Yesterday, Rad Hatter unleashed another lustrous bop titled ‘Airwalk’ that is sure to take your mind through the clouds. Ear-ticking effects and spacious, reverberating synths set the stage early, before the talented artist slowly builds to an epic climax with distorted stabs and futuristic melodies. As the ninety-second mark hits, Rad Hatter’s ingenious flow will leave you in awe as he flips the track into bass-riddled, metallic insanity without escaping the beauty of melody. Everything from the granulation to the distortion behind each sound seems meticulously calculated, leaving listeners in a state of dazzled trance.

Don’t miss Rad Hatter’s ‘Airwalk’ below!
