Lido & Santell Are Back With Passion Project II

Back in 2015, Lido and Santell teamed up for the R&B epic known as The Passion Project. The EP was a perfect blend of Lido’s incredible production style and Santell’s sultry crooning. The mix of seductive sounds and raw and often humorous lyrics made it a favorite among fans. Fast forward to today and the two are back with the sequel. Passion Project II builds upon the chemistry that Lido and Santell poses to deliver a 3 track effort that blends 90’s nostalgia with a forward thinking vibe. Kicking things off with ‘Commited,’ the slow burner will have you yearning for your ex. ‘Recruit’ takes things up a notch while Santell works to “start his own crew”. On the finale, ‘Mariah/Say You Scared,’ dark bass lines and breathy vocal loops set the stage while Santell skates over the beat delicately. The lyrics “I used to sing Ashley, but now I’m on Mariah…” are sure to perk up the ears of fans of the original Passion Project. Grab that special someone and let this loop.

Alizzz & Santell Get Sexy on ‘Body Slam’

Fresh off his collab with R3LL, Alizzz returns with the first single off his upcoming Ocean Drive EP. ‘Body Slam’ features rising RnB sensation Santell. For those unfamiliar with his work be sure to check out The Passion Project EP with Lido. The production brings a future sound with strong 808s creating the perfect canvas for Santell to paint over. The vocalist proves his range switching between hitting high notes and deepening it up to spit a few bars. Branchez & Santell’s New Track Is A Summery Dream

Getting some new Branchez in your life was a dream for most of 2015. His sparse release schedule had fans salivating for some fresh tracks and it seems he’s finally giving them what they need. Last month he blew our brains with the release of the viscous ‘Cuenta’. Today he returns with ‘Dreamer’ featuring vocals from the immensely talented Santell (see The Passion Project). The soundscape is as warm and inviting as a summer’s afternoon. The synths are upbeat and bouncy, the drums are smooth as a cool breeze with just a touch of knock and the lyrics will leave you lost in a state of reverie.
