In the project’s title track, Dread MC’s vocals set the tone early, layered above a simplistic melody before a build-up of energy leads to the real highlight of the song. Intricate arrangements of drums and synths shine as the contagious rhythm of ‘Soundwave’ spreads like an epidemic as the track progresses. ‘Lil Mama’ alongside Shift K3Y follows in a similar tone to the opening track, with a sombre soundscape introducing the track and a minimal yet danceable cadence held throughout. ‘Turn It Up’ closes the project in full force, seeing Taiki Nulight up the darkness and energy with a crunchy bassline, punchy horns and crisp arpeggios keeping the livelihood intact.
