If you’re a hip hop fan, chances are it doesn’t feel like the year is over until you listen to Skillz annual ‘Rap Up’. Well it’s December 31st and it’s time for that closure. Going in for 5 minutes, Skillz recaps the year’s biggest moments while sprinkling in his signature humour and witty lines. The track touches on everything from Pokemon Go and Snapchat to mumble rap, celebrity news, politics and everything in between. The list of quotables goes on but it’s the songs close that stands out the strongest, “More pros, less rookies

Skillz Recaps The Year With ‘2015 Rap Up’

The year doesn’t fully feel complete until we get the annual ‘Rap Up’ from Mad Skillz. Thankfully the 2015 edition is here and it’s just what we’ve come to expect. There was once a time when I anxiously awaited the end of the year to hear Skillz do his annual ‘Rap-Up’. After it falling off my radar for a few years I was pleased to see the ‘2014 Rap-Up’ pop up. Skillz perfectly captures all the year’s biggest events from pop culture, to social and political issues. It’s the perfect way to close the year off, so press play and reminisce on 2014.
