]]> Two of bass music’s finest producers, alongside two of bass music’s best labels, it just feels right. THRPY and Dj Ride have teamed up for ‘On Lock,’ an insane heater off the SLEEVELESS vs SATURATE! Saturated Warriors compilation which drops Jan. 15th. Ahead of the full album’s release, we have the honour of debuting one of the standout records. ‘On Lock’ is just under 3 minutes of abusive bass, brain-bending sound design and eye-popping samples. It blends a hip-hop inspired swagger with a menacingly experimental bounce. “I’m most proud of the lead sound design. Stumbled across a new technique and it just came our beautifully weird,” THRPY tells us.

A track of this calibre couldn’t just end anywhere as THRPY explains, “We were patient in finding the perfect home for the track. I have been a fan of both Saturate and Sleeveless and it was a goal of mine to release with them. The track compliments the compilation very well I think.” Don’t let his modesty mislead you, ‘On Lock’ is an absolute standout on a compilation that’s extremely stacked.
