Music has a way of emoting that is so powerful it can turn the party from a stinker to a stunner, make us feel brave or uplifted, become the soundtrack for our experiences and memories, and heal us after we’ve been tossed around a bit by love. ‘Did You Wrong’ by Sweater Beats featuring MAX is a synth-sexy, get-down piece fitting for any situation.

Sweater Beats has unfurled yet another melodic, electronic infused, funk-a-fied dance beat to bounce back from your latest, or greatest, awkward moment. The easy going nature of this track allows the meaning of the vocals to not hit home too hard, even though MAX’s poetically falsetto vocals tickle tenderly. Sweater uses many sounds to harmonize this catchy-cute song. Each element that your ear snags seems to be a ghost of some other epic genre’s signature style. You might hear bells from groovy 70’s love songs, bass tones of 80’s power ballads, and a steady chill of 90’s R&B flavor. Its all sleeked over with a modern electro blend which makes this track impossible not to swing your chin to.

Look for Sweater Beats coming to a city near you on his For the Cold tour which just kicked off.
