Take Care, which went on to win a Grammy for Best Rap Album is easily one of the best of Drake’s projects to date – and that’s saying a lot considering his pretty stellar catalogue. Today’s throwback is probably not what you may have expected for us to share from the album, but this track is often overlooked. Around the time of the album release Drake and Compton come up Kendrick Lamar linked up after Lamar’s Section.80 took over the internet. ‘Buried Alive Interlude’ is Kendrick rapping about meeting Drake and navigating the industry all while trying to stay true to himself.
