The bouncy tune is not only fun, but it’s also hella relatable. Skyler Cocco, the singer-songwriter, gave us some insight into the lyrics saying she, “wrote from the perspective of someone who is quietly observing a crowded party and daydreaming about going home to be in their element.”

This release is an ode to social anxiety and to everyone who also struggles with it. I wanted to channel the emotions I feel at a social gathering; feeling awkward and scared to contribute to conversations, wanting to hide away from the crowd. I may appear cold and standoffish, but in reality I’m just contemplating what I should say to you.

As a hermit, the track hits home. But as a future bass lover, this shit slaps. ‘Party’ is eerily reminiscent of the innovative, twinkling wave racer-esque gems on SoundCloud back in 2014. Jam-packed with cascading synths, danceable drum breaks, and hypnotic vocals, TSU NAMI and Skyler Cocco captivate us from start to finish.

The real heat on this track comes at the second drop, where the track takes a dark turn into drum and bass territory that leaves listeners dumbfounded. Next up is Juelz and Bishu’s take on Gucci Mane’s ‘Richer Than Errbody’ feat. Youngboy Never Broke Again & Da Baby. With top notch sound design, this is one of the standouts of the remix tape and you can be sure to hear it in quite a few mixes this year. Juelz enlists ISOxo for a remix of ‘Babushka Boi’ by ASAP Rocky, and together they create the massive banger that you would expect from these two heavy hitters. They truly give ASAP the royal treatment, providing an absolutely epic lead and great use of his vocals on the drop. Last up is Juelz and tsu nami’s remix of ‘Babyface Savage’ by Bhad Bhabie feat. Tory Lanez. The two producers go savage on this remix, giving us a relentless track full of energy that will smash 2020.

“Tsu Nami pretty much provided the idea for the track with melodies and counter melodies and certain percussions here and there, I took this idea and added my bass heavy flair to the track with huge orchestral horns, gritty sliding 808’s, piercing effects and overall composition,” Dropwizz explains about how ‘Get It’ came together. Their efforts compliment each other perfectly. The menacing horns beef up the beat while the melody remains both eerie and inviting. A “pay attention to the drums” vocal sample drives the track forward and commands your focus. Heavy-hitting bass and tribal undertones round out ‘Get It’. Expect to be rinsing this on repeat.
