Hailing from the deep south, Mitch Draper, also known by his TVBOO production alias, has taken the electronic dance community by storm in recent years with his distinct blend of wubby, dubby productions coupled with his comical personality that he vigorously flaunts at any given chance. Hosting his own podcast show with TVBOO Talks, along with doing comedy sets during the 2019 festival season, he aims to crush every aspect of his multifacetedness. He first caught our attention over 2 years ago with his bass-heavy heater ‘Wook Worm,’ that showcased a veteran attention to detail and a knack for crafting some of the richest bass lines in all the land. This year he started off blazing hot with the release of the debilitating banger ‘Drugs‘ with the fellow youthful dub dealer Chomppa. Now, he’s back with his first solo release of the year in the form of ‘Goku’, a Dragon Ball Z-inspired track so energetic it’ll make every listener in the vicinity go full super saiyan.

Starting off innocently enough, ‘Goku’ makes it known that it’s just charging up its energy before it smacks you harder than you knew was humanly possible. The build is Goku, the main protagonist from the Dragon Ball series, powering up his spirit bomb for his ultimate attack, utilizing the energy in the air and world around him to decimate all in his path. The drop is just as punishing as you’d expect from a track derived from such a decimating move, bodying listeners more than it did Kid Buu in the show, blasting all in its path into minute smithereens. Mixing full-bodied, robust basslines interchangeably with hearty helpings of wobbly goodness leaves you with an end product that is truly dangerous at its core. Check out ‘Goku’ and all its ferocity for yourself below, and you can snag the free download here!

Consistently pumping out some of the most debaucherous noise in all the DMV, Alec Goldstein, also known by his Chomppa production moniker, has steadily set himself apart from the fold of fellow up-and-coming bass music aficionados with his unique take on speaker-rattling warfare. His debut Flabbergast EP was met with critical acclaim on Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats label, sparking an immediate surge in his already steadily climbing follower count. Seeing this uproarious takeoff, we had to tap him for the 117th installment of our guest mix + interview series, which was one of our most successful throughout all of last year. Later, he closed off 2020 in epic fashion with his tribute to Biggie Smalls in the form of ‘Stix n’ Stonez‘, a cantankerous concoction of wubs and hip hop sauciness. Now, he’s teamed up with the pride of Jackson, Mississippi himself, Tvboo, for their first-ever collaborative effort, ‘Drugs’, out now on Wakaan.

With the combined artistic prowess and unbridled horsepower these two have, it’s no surprise that ‘Drugs’ is the hefty slugfest that it is. Sporting some of the crispiest undulations in all the land, slabs of blackened bacon will be forced to take a note or two. Where the first drop is chock-full of wobbly goodness, the latter is thicker than a bowl of oatmeal, dubiously demolishing with unprecedented vigor and potency. Debilitating at its very framework, ‘Drugs’ aims to set your being vibrating at a much more devilish frequency, shenanigans and debauchery levels ratcheted into overdrive for the time being. These two young stars have truly outdone themselves, kicking 2021 into action with an inebriation-inducing mammoth of a tune. Check out ‘Drugs’ in all its glory for yourself below and grab the free download!

Jantsen Robertson, also known succinctly as Jantsen, has been an absolute legend in the bass music community for almost a decade now, creating high energy productions that turn crowds into carnal bloodbaths. Utilizing crafty vocal acapellas that he surgically inserts on top of his already vicious pieces, this man creates unique live performances that feel like a full body workout by the close. Now, he’s put his head together with the young, comical legend from the south TVBOO, to bring fans a devastating track that’s so hot, you’ll need to keep several gallons of milk on deck.

Out on the ever-friendly home of dirty-nasty dubs, Circus Records, ‘Got Dat’ continues a tyrannical campaign of audible domination. From the introduction of the saucy vocals you’ll be bopping to the beat, full bobble-head mode engaged. With the introduction of the drums you’ll be sent into a spiraling frenzy, not quite concretely sure what’s about to happen, but fully knowing that shit is going to go down. With little regard for human life, the dirt-nasty wubs from the beginning of the first drop will leave you mouthing “what the fuck” right before they descend into longer, more drawn-out notes that illicit a hearty “ooooh.” The production on this piece is absolutely top-notch, with palpable electric energy coursing throughout that will surely wake you from even the deepest slumber. So what exactly do Jantsen and TVBOO “Got”? A massive, fiery banger, that’s what. With such a massive success for their first collaboration, this fan is eagerly awaiting their next joint effort. Check out ‘Got Dat’ for yourself below!

As two of the most forward-thinking dominators of dangerous bass lines, TVBOO and DMVU have carved out a cozy niche in the exponentially-growing experimental side of new-age electronic music. TVBOO has curated a consistent high-energy aesthetic with his productions and stand-up so grimy, you can only help but to laugh at the ludicracy of it all. DMVU has been leading the charge for years now with progressive pieces that sit firmly unconfined by traditional genre borders, with a major emphasis on a genuinely fun atmosphere and the promotion of true self-expression. Now, they’ve teamed up to collectively deal some sonic intoxicants straight to your dome in the form of ‘Eat My Sass,’ out on Wakaan, a deep dive into just how wild these two can get.

If wobbles and grit are the items on the menu for your ears, ‘Eat My Sass’ will surely fill you up to your heart’s content. Instead of simply not fitting into a box, TVBOO and DMVU have completely flipped it on its head, or thrown out the box in its entirety, creating their own hybrid heavy heater that hellaciously handles all your musical desires. From the introduction you’ll be whiskey away by the playful tone and the accompanying electricity that courses through your body, debauchery and shenanigans being the only sure course of action. The first drop hits hard, sounding like maniacally angry pots and pans letting you know their displeasure, before the switch up hits and the wobbles contort your face like you just caught a whiff of something gnarly. The second drop is much more TVBOO-centric at the beginning, with his patented sounds being immediately apparent, before DMVU comes back in for the kill shot.

‘Eat My Sass’ will keep you on your toes throughout the entirety of the piece, but that’s nothing new for these immensely talented artists who have constantly pushed boundaries throughout their careers. With plenty of studio time now, both these artists have a chance to make some of the best music of their lives, but for now check out ‘Eat My Sass’ for yourself below, and grab the free download here!

Picking up right where they left off, Quality Goods Records is back with another spicy treat to kick off the new year in style. Tapping label-favourite TVBOO and FUXWITHIT-favourite Runnit with their first release of the decade, the label looks to make a statement with a collaboration of epic proportions.

Uplifting pads and a cutesy melody kicks off ‘Clear’ in a misleading fashion, as there is nothing comforting about what follows – unless wicked bass and gnarly sound design is what warms you. The sample “when the chronic smoke clears, all you gon’ see is” brings about the catastrophic barrage of bass that follows, where guttural frequencies paired with quirky fills come together to form a late-night club banger. Fusing experimental sounds with a straight gangster sound palette, this is assured to be on repeat for all trap and bass fans.

As the comedian TVBOO puts it, ‘Clear’ is “what you turn on when you about to go rob your grandmother.” Don’t miss it below.

Good ol’ southern bass maestros Mitch Draper and Andre Waguespack, or Tvboo and Klutch respectively, have been separately waging campaigns of sound wave warfare in recent years. Klutch first amassed critical acclaim from a string of wildly successful remixes three years ago, with his rendition of Beethoven’s ‘Fur Elise’ garnering roughly 650,000 streams on SoundCloud alone. Tvboo is a man of many talents, masterfully crafting weird and heavy bass music with the utmost excellence, while also rising as a stand-up comedian for the electronic music scene, poking fun at all the nuances and traditions prevalent in bass music culture. Now, they’ve put their heads together to bring fans ‘Prophet,’ an audible hoedown being released on Music High Court that we’ve had the pleasure of premiering here at FUXWITHIT.

Klutch & TVBOO shine as they both contribute rap vocals on top of adding thick, crunchy bass lines. Incorporating the more traditional stylings of dubstep that’s more Klutch leaning, each drop has several distinct parts, each building off of the last successively. This track only gets better the deeper you go, with the latest drop being intensely mania-inducing, sure to cause a ruckus. With Klutch just releasing a Halloween mix on Deadbeats and TVBOO asserting his dominance as a jack-of-all-trades while also landing inordinate amounts of righteous gigs, these are two artists to keep a keen eye on in 2020 for sure. For now, make sure to check out ‘Prophet’ for yourself below and here.

Parametric Records based out of Los Angeles has released their blazing freshman compilation album Pressure Points Vol. 1, a body of work practically overflowing with diversity and individuality. Packed to the brim with illustrious names throughout the bass music ecosystem like Duke & Jones, Tvboo, Ruvlo, Hairitage, RemK, Juelz and more, this is an eleven-track collection that is surely not to be trifled with.

[soundcloud url=”https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/701406400″ params=”color=#ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&show_teaser=true&visual=true” width=”100%” height=”166″ iframe=”true” /]

Kicking off at the fourth spot in the compilation is Duke & Jones with ‘Waist Down,’ a song that will make you jive from your tops of your hips to the tips of your toes. This is a deliciously trappy auditory layer cake that only gets better as it progresses. The first drop acclimates you to the pristine sound design and amazing flow, making it exceedingly difficult not to move on the spot. The latter drop is much thicker than the first, maintaining the energy while allowing for more full-bodied undulations. If you’re looking for a song to get a party popping real quick, throw this puppy on and watch the room go wild.

[soundcloud url=”https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/701403223″ params=”color=#ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&show_teaser=true&visual=true” width=”100%” height=”166″ iframe=”true” /]

Next, EDM funny guy and experimental dubstep producer, Tvboo, and swiftly rising production wizard Ruvlo, have dastardly devised a musical tool of mass destruction. ‘Break It Down’ does just that, obliterating everything in its path. With three separate unforgiving drops with maximum malicious intent, this track is a first-class headbanging marathon. The first drop melds both styles seamlessly, beginning with thick trap-heavy basslines that quickly devolve into Tvboo’s signature “make your mind feel like it’s in a blender” type sound, ping-ponging back and forth. This song feels like a true collaboration, with neither party dominating the overall sound, an immaculate harmony.

[soundcloud url=”https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/698024485″ params=”color=#ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&show_teaser=true&visual=true” width=”100%” height=”166″ iframe=”true” /]

Aaron LeClair also known as Hairitage comes in at the eighth spot in the collection with his piece ‘The Movement,’ a red bull for your nervous system. The pre-drop vocals of “down with this movement” get you primed and ready before you get smacked with a delightfully filthy trap beat. To call this song funky would be a grave understatement. A push for individuality and creativity is evident, with fun and weirdness in maximum demand.

[soundcloud url=”https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/698382730″ params=”color=#ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&show_teaser=true&visual=true” width=”100%” height=”300″ iframe=”true” /]

RemK and his track ‘Flip It’ are my final highlight of Pressure Points, another immensely talented artist currently navigating the realms of heavy trap heaters. Putting the hybrid back in hybrid trap, he alternates between cascades of thick basslines and more traditional trap stylings, keeping your ears guessing. What they don’t have to guess, however, is whether or not each song he puts out slaps, because it’s always a yes.

Parametric Records hit a major homerun with Pressure Points Vol. 1, giving progressive bass artists a body of work to showcase their inordinate amounts of talent. Giving this entire collection a thorough rinse will assuredly leave each and every listener eagerly awaiting Vol. 2, a sure sign of big things to come. For now, make sure to check out all of Pressure Points Vol. 1 for yourself below!

EDM stand up comedian and distributor of delectably dense wubs TVBOO, and his accomplices in audible alchemy sfam, have melded forces once again to put a ludicrous twist on an already borderline-inhumane track. Premiering almost a year and a half ago here on FUXWITHIT, the original ‘Dahshigo’ dealt inordinate amounts of damage to bassheads’ ears around the world, climbing to over 110,000 plays on SoundCloud alone and garnering support from some of the most gargantuan names in the industry. Now, they’ve unveiled a true monstrosity, a variation in production so deadly the united nations outlawed the very mention of it.

The VIP begins much akin to the original until the first drop, where instead of immediately slamming the bassline down your throat it instead fake drops and builds to your utter doom. The drop trades the expertly crafted short, quick wubs of the OG with an absolutely titanic tsunami of low end that sings like a chorus of whales. Children, animals, and priuses should be strapped down in proximity for fear of being blown several miles in any direction. To answer the age-old question of “what does Dahshigo?” The only logical answer is ‘Dahshigo’ hard, excessively hard.

Check out the ‘Dahshigo (VIP) for yourself below and grab the free download!

Following the release of his debut Repercussions EP released via Emengy earlier this year, Wonky Tonk is a further demonstration that this southern tumbleweed isn’t merely rolling through town. Split evenly down the middle, the 4-track EP depicts an audible rollercoaster with a country twist, sandwiching two heavyweight crucibles of bass in ‘Sassy Sally’ and ‘Tater Tits’ between the guileful experimental introduction of ‘Bleacher Creature’ alongside beat maestros um.. and the long-anticipated capstone track to the project ‘Froggy Frank’.

TVBOO has been absolutely smashing the game lately. Having recently played Emissions Festival in California, TVBOO isn’t showing any signs of slowing down his relentless streak of original tunes. Fresh off the release of his EP from Outer Realms, Cult Classic, TVBOO is back with what he describes as his, “first love song, ” titled ‘Skrawberries.’

‘Skrawberries’ begins with a warm, gritty bass line that slowly intensifies and rises until you are hit with the vocal drop, “I met a girl and her booty taste like Skrawberries.” The track explodes into the previous bass line, but the way TVBOO manages to make the bass rise and fall gives it such a wiggly, undulating character. TVBOO adds some interesting plucks to help fill out the end of the first drop, and brings ‘Skrawberries’ to a nice rest before absolutely demolishing the second drop. The sound design used in the second drop brings back hints of nostalgia from the Dubstep era of EDM, but TVBOO certainly brought it into 2019 with how gritty and dirty he made the leads.

‘Skrawberries’ is out now for free download, cop the free download here
