On ‘Recall,’ Veer and Cyclops create an ominous atmosphere from the get-go, wasting no time before unleashing the bass madness that follows. The drops are crunchy and menacing, with snappy drums and fills driving the energy and the flow. In a nutshell, ‘Recall’ is a quintessential example of where dubstep is headed, and Veer and Cyclops are sure to be a leading force in this new wave.

An extension of his dynamic collaborative tendencies, ‘Reap in Peace’ with Mumbai-native Veer depicts a sonic collision of distorted styles that grows quickly in stature from the contorted daze of the vocal lead as gently impinging snares break into an initial pulsating blanket of subs that slips cunningly in and out of periphery amid textured bass fills and percipient drums. The haunting vocal reprise offers a momentary solace before a cascade of shrill, echoing sirens engulf you entirely.
