Flosstradamus, Mayhem and Waka Flocka are all trap legends in their own right. So having all 3 of them collide on a tune is nothing short of massive. If you ever wondered what it might sound like if these heavyweights clicked up, you now have your answer. ‘Back Again’ is a bangin’ trap heater with some serious anthem potential. Waka’s energy is undeniable while Flosstradamus and Mayhem craft a sound that tips its hat to trap’s early days while injecting a 2017 twist. Flosstradamus feat. Waka Flocka – TTU (TroyBoi Remix)

If you’ve listened to some of TroyBoi’s latest mixes you’ve probably heard his incredible remix of Flosstradamus & Waka Flocka’s ‘TTU’. After keeping the track unreleased to use as a DJ weapon (an atomic bomb at that) it has finally seen an official release, on Flosstradamus PLURNT: The Remixes EP. Don’t let the downtempo introduction fool you, this track is beyond turnt. The high energy vocals are twisted and looped providing the perfect lead up for the brain smashing bass sections. The track contains elements of trap and grime, a pinch of Mr. Carmack influence and whole lot of TroyBoi’s signature sound. This is easily the best remix to date and may even put the original to shame. Look out for this obliterating some of your favourite DJs’ sets. Stream below and cop the the track on Beatport.

Waka Flocka – No Hands (CRNKN Remix)

It’s Thursday and that means it’s time to throw it back with another installment of ‘Tracks You May Have Missed’. Before CRNKN was exploring the wide expanse of electronic genres in which he has dabbled (Future Bass, Deep House, Electro, etc.) the artist was making noise in the Trap scene. CRNKN actually introduced me to a ton of my favourite artists through his ‘It’s A TRAP Summer 2012’ mix (unfortunately it’s no longer online). So today I wanted to share one of my personal favorite tracks of his, a rework of Waka Flocka’s ‘ No Hands’. Utilizing Waka’s ignorant party vocals, nasty 808’s, killer vocal chops and some heavy bass, the tune is sure to have you wylin’ out. Stream below and be sure to snag the free download.
