]]> Since the Weeknd dropped ‘Often’, I’ve been eagerly anticipating the remixes that would follow. When I saw that one of my favorite producers Andrew Luce would be putting his own spin on the track, I knew it would be an instant favourite. Andrew keeps the opening fairly true to the original letting the Weekend’s seductive vocals set the stage. It’s nearly midway through before we get hit with the drop, made up of chopped and bent vocals akin to his ‘Birthday Sex’ remix. He even sprinkles in some rap samples (what up Yeezy and Weezy). The track mellows as the Weeknd’s vocals come back around before building into a synth heavy drop to close things out. How frequently will you bumping this one? My guess is ‘Often’.
