The comic Suicide Squad is about to make it to the big screen this August but personally I’m anxious to hear more of its seemingly dope soundtrack. ‘Sucker for Pain’ is the second track to be released from it and it’s peachy yet simple beat is infused with the lyrical genius Logic, Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, & Ty Dolla $ign. In addition to these well known rappers spitting their fresh flow on the beat, we get more of an alternative rock feel with the appearances of Imagine Dragons and X Ambassadors. The uncanny factor about this song is not who is featured in it but rather the admixture of genres. The originality of all the artists featured in this track only adds to the simplicity of its beauty. It begins with a vintage slow starting Imagine Dragon intro, similar to their single ‘Demons’ but with a kick and then transitions into the verses of all four rappers. In the wise words of Lil Tunechi *Insert Weezy laugh*, “I’mma jump from a plane or stand in front of a train, Cause I’m a sucker for pain.” In correlation with this dope new track, at the end of the day your squad is always there for you, so go share this song with them and stream below.

Ludacris – Party Girls ft. Wiz Khalifa, Jeremih, Cashmere Cat

Wow this is something I was not expecting. Ludacris has teamed up with Norwegian electronic producer Cashmere Cat for his latest single. Cashmere kills the beat as expected. It has a sensual feel with some heavy bass. Jeremih drops in for the hook flipping Aqua’s Barbie Girl lyrics, “I need party girls, in my party world,/ Titties plastic, ass fantastic/ They just brush my hair and touch me everywhere/ I don’t say shit and they be getting naked”. Wiz Khalifa comes through with the second verse. Considering this is the first big mainstream song Cashmere Cat has produced and the fact that the hook is so reminiscent to Aqua’s 1997 smash hit, expect this to be hotly discussed.
