Ready to be shown to the world. And incorporating the chopped-up record sample creates a nice flowing stream of bliss to the second portion. Taking us to the end, he slowly eases down the vibe by reducing the track’s speed. Creating a lo-fi style spectrum. A great path to take to end things on a high note.

‘flanktheop’ begins with a brooding atmosphere and a layered vocal phrase that quickly leads you to a drop that sounds like the most banging water faucet drip in existence. In typical yojas. and We Rose fashion, the drums absolutely smack, but the key here is the lead they’ve managed to wrangle. Dripping wet and flailing around the beat, the lead on ‘flanktheop’ gets stretched, mangled, and distorted constantly through the track, giving you something new to be engaged in. ‘flanktheop’ has us begging for more yojas. and We Rose, and I’d bet it won’t be their last.

It just so happens that I don’t even have enough hands to count the amount names on this remix pack that has been featured on FUX, but one definite highlight track is the COFFIN remix of ‘Wonksta’. COFFIN’s perfectly mixed hip-hop drums flow over the suspenseful intro of the track before becoming the driving force in the drop, while also filling spaces with these deep wubs felt deep inside your sternum. 

Another highlight track comes from yet another FUX favorite, SuperAve. The track begins with this deep growl which seems to grow in the shadows as the drums slowly climb through the mix in the build. One second into the drop, and you quickly realize that SuperAve. is not messing around, as some of the nastiest lead basses led the way throughout the drop, along with some pounding percussion elements. 

Once again, another FUX favorite delivers one of the highlights of the remix pack, with anti.’s remix of ‘Static.’ Right out the gate anti. comes throwing elbows with his classic thumping hip-hop drums and piercing hi-hats that jump out the mix. After a quick build, anti. comes through with this hypnotic lead synth that makes you feel like you’re falling endlessly down the rabbit hole.

Last but most definitely not least is yojas and We Rose’s remix of ‘Fearful’. From the start, it feels as if something ominous and aggressive is lurking with these dark industrial alarm sounding synths building the suspense perfectly in the intro. After a quick introduction to the drums in the build, we’re thrown into the madness that is the drop. Two seconds in and I guarantee your face is stank, and your arms are trapped out, as the lead synth is perfectly layered to give that grimy feel while also not losing those smacking drums. 

This whole project gives us fresh and exciting takes on tracks that were already bangers. This one is definitely worth the listen, check out the whole thing below.

The first of these to be released being ‘chopped’ where we are introduced to the first episode in the series. A steady intro that feels inviting yet leaves you asking what is about to happen. As the track grows we reach the peak where the classic “Yah yeet” yojas sample can be heard before being tossed around in a bounce house that has no exit. In the second episode we are introduced to ‘rich.’ where they waste no time getting straight to the point. A quick intro rapidly raises the energy levels and is soon met with a thunderous “WHAT!?” sample. This track leaves a lot more open space available which provides a heavier lean as a result. The distorted vocals will have you wanting to go for a late night drive, grip the steering wheel with one hand and lean your seat back all the way. Grab that download for this one here !

In the final episode they provide ‘p.e.d’s.’ which feels like a love child between the previously mentioned tracks. A perfect marriage of classic gritty trap and a heavy lean incorporated. The simplicity in its arrangement allows for all of the elements to shine and be properly presented, yet a level of complex sound design still exists.

From tuning into the We Rose stream recently, it appears there are plenty more where these came from. If anymore will be released from the vaults is a question we don’t yet have the answer to. In the meantime give these three tracks the attention they deserve.

“bd hbt” is an ironic name, as Sam Delgado has quite the good habit of making everything he touches into an absolute banger. Coupled with Yojas’s unending amount of dumb-lit trap beats, this duo is a match made in heaven for lovers of tracks that make subs thump. Their rendition of ‘Devour’ starts off with a more traditional approach to a trap remix, switching up the flow to a more back-and-forth sway, rather than an unrelenting thrust forward. The 2nd drop is much more of a “grip you firmly by the jugular” type approach, starting off with a fake drop that builds into a catastrophic deluge of hybrid trap and dubstep ferocity. Using drawn-out basslines to coax the listener in and then smacking them in the face with what I can only describe as an interstellar laser cannon, this track will inject only the most wild of energy into your bones.

The combination of these two immensely talented artists is quite the titanic force, which readily explains why they’ve been playing so many shows together lately. With both having distinct, powerful styles, the world surely is their oyster, and if you have the opportunity to catch a set from them anytime soon, you should drop everything to make it happen. We just had full trust in each other given our similarities in our sound and production style, and with a bit of experimentation and a culmination of our styles this is the end product we’ve come up with,” t1r continues.

Their latest work is an eerie, experimental banger that catches you off-guard from the get-go with its high introductory intensity. As the track builds, additional synths and effects are layered to give ‘yoyo’ a colossal, doom-impending aura. ‘d.i.l.i.h.’ begins with a groovy beat and vocals from Pharrell, but it doesn’t take yojas. long to switch up the track and add his own spice. Chopping up the vocals, yojas. creates an wonky, staggering effect that falls in harmony with the simplistic plucks that he scatters throughout the beat. During the second drop, yojas. strips away the vocals, leaving a beat filled with samples and one shots you can find in most yojas tracks, like his signature flexitone. When the vocals come back into the track, an eruption of lazers follows with it, absolutely blowing anybody away from their screen. You’ve been warned.
