Must Hear: NGHTMRE Featuring Bret James and RNSM ‘The Killer’

0

On the heels of his latest single, NGHTMRE releases ‘The Killer’, which he described as “spooky but goes hard”.

Pairing up with Bret James and RNSM, NGHTMRE was able to produce this new track and include some experimental sounds. There are plenty of killer drops, and thundering bass. Phil Collins-esque vocals are blended over a stabbing snare drum that clashes with bellowing synthetic brasses. The track is constantly shifting between velvety vocal bridges and demonic, mechanical slicing dubs, and heavy bass wubs- classic signatures of NGHTMRE’s trap style. The track makes you feel like you need to sway and resurrect your crip-walk skills with its eerily dark, and steady rhythm.
