Jersey Club has moved from a regional sound to one of the hottest genres out and is now finding its place as a staple across North America. One of the genres brightest stars, Ase Manual, has been burning up our SoundCloud feed with stellar remixes (‘DNF’, ‘Commas’) and killer originals (‘Throw That Ha’, ‘Mata Hari’). Today, Ase Manual has blessed us with what may be his best track to date, a remix of the Picard Brothers ft. Erik Hassle ‘Goodbye & Good Luck’. The rework takes the upbeat break up anthem to Jersey. It retains the elements of the original that make it so sweet: gorgeous synths, the emotional vocals that are warm in tone but cold lyrically and of course the sugary sweet melodies. What Ase injects are the club elements we’ve come to love in retooled drums, hard kicks, heavy bass and some next level vocal chops. The way the vocals are looped punctuates the song’s message while giving it a slightly more powerful and fun sound. Be forewarned, this will be stuck in your head all day.
