A while ago, we made mention of Shambhala Music Festival‘s headliner announcement for its 2018 celebrations. Now, the festival’s stage-specific roster for the entire weekend has been revealed, and every stage is looking to make this summer an all-around memorable one, down at Salmo River Ranch!
Each of Shambhala’s 6 stages is known to be a separate standing entity, with a dedicated team of stage directors/crew behind its operation, to bring forth its own inimitable journey. All of this occurs while the stages work in harmony with one another for an interconnected and mystical experience, once the festival is in full swing mid-August. This year may feel even more connected, given the increased diversity of genres across each stage.
The funky phenomenon, Fractal Forest, is going to celebrate its 20th anniversary of being a part of the festival. With names like Mix Master Mike, Beardyman and Gramatik on the roster, it’s bound to be an out-of-this-world milestone experience. On another hand, The Grove is commemorating 5 years on the farm! Artists such as Clams Casino and FUX favourite Brasstracks are slated to deliver an unreal, style-blending experience throughout the course of the weekend.
Along with the stage announcements, there’s also curated Spotify playlists to get a taste of what each stage will sound like this year. But, since that’s clearly not enough music for the upcoming hype, Shambhala has also announced the start of their 2018 Mix Series! This year starts off with Colorado’s Dirt Monkey, who delivers a heavy, wobble-infested mix, which goes all-in from start to finish. Check out the mix, and each stage’s full lineup, below!
