Juelz’s Flawless Production Radiates In Newest Single ‘The Time Of My Life’

by Steph Contant

Juelz may not be the first producer you think of when asked which Vancouver-based artist is making waves in the scene, but that should definitely change. Over the last three years, the talented beat-maker has collaborated with the likes of josh pan, FALCONS, Promnite and Landyn, and has earned the respect of countless other artists. While he might not be at the top of festival lineups, his collaborations and solo works have consistently been the secret weapon of your favourite trap producer’s sets, largely due to their hard-hitting sub-bass and intricate beat arrangements.

Last Friday, Juelz continued to solidify himself as one of the most versatile beat-makers in the game with an emotional single titled ‘The Time Of My Life’. The SoundCloud caption reads “crying at the festival”, and there really isn’t a better way to describe the track. An incredibly clean introduction highlighted by soulful female vocals and crisp production quickly builds into a feels-ridden drop. Ethereal synths, stimulating percussion and an elegant melody shine in a first drop that is bound to release an overflow of emotions, but it doesn’t stop there as Juelz ups the passion and intensity in the second half of the song. The quick yet seamless change in feel demonstrates Jeulz’s ability to flawlessly produce both trap and future bass.
