ATLiens And Badrapper Unleash Minimal Mayhem On ‘IMMA’

by Steph Contant

Coming off a wicked Diplo and Friends mix and a monstrous 26-date North American tour, ATLiens are showing no signs of slowing down, as today marks the unveiling of their latest self-released track titled ‘IMMA’. Hailing from Atlanta, the masked duo teamed up with rising Aussie bass producer Badrapper, who is also having himself quite the year, coming fresh off a trap-house hybrid remix of JOYRYDE and Skrillex’s ‘AGEN WIDA’. With both ATLiens and Badrapper known for their heavy-hitting trap bangers, one could only imagine what they concocted in the studio together.

‘IMMA’ is a skull-shattering but minimalist trap record that follows ATLiens’ latest releases such as ‘Exile’ and ‘Interstellar’. Their distinct deep-voiced chops from ‘Interlock’ have once again slithered their way into this latest release. Nonetheless, Badrapper’s presence does not go unnoticed, with rumbling bass and pristine production perfectly highlighting the established duo’s sound. ‘IMMA’ builds tension in the introduction with sirens and frantic risers before switching into a wonky trap drop that will leave you breathless. With that theme repeated twice, listeners are in for a wild ride.
