This announcement incited speculation among fans as to what this trap banger would sound like, as teasers were scarce. One thing was for certain, though, and that was that a collision between the British and Australian kings of trap was bound to be a heater.
Today, the short-lived anticipation comes to an end with the release of ‘Solid’ on Monstercat. The trap lords start us off with their distinctive percussion and an eerie melody, setting the stage for the banger that follows. Wasting no time, ‘Solid’ flips into an insanely catchy yet still wonky bop that will surely tickle all your senses. The combination of heavy basses with gritty synths and minutely-timed vocal samples will get any bass enthusiast sweating and craving more.
