The product of countless nights pouring over every minute detail of the track, NOT LOUD ENOUGH & Dom Bini make a memorable start to the year with the release of ‘Encounter’. Having collaborated together previously on ‘Ghoulish’, the two were able to skip initial introductions and get right into the meat of the track.
“Initially, I reached out to Rodrigo as a big fan of the songs he had previously released, so I was definitely looking to collab and let our sounds mesh to see what we can come up with. Our personalities didn’t clash in the slightest, which made it extremely easy to work on ‘Encounter’ and grow together as artists,” Dom shares regarding his relationship working with Rodrigo.
‘Ghoulish’ presented a terrific opportunity for the two to test the waters in a collaborative effort at an early point in both of their careers. However, reconnecting now, having both diligently refined their sound in the past months demonstrates just how fluid their two styles can become.
“The results that Dom and I got from releasing ‘Ghoulish’ wasn’t what we expected, so that pushed us to take out production to the next level. Mixdowns and sound design were two areas we were looking to focus on heavily, so by using our initial release as a framework coupled with the ingenuity of producers we look up to, we were able to enhance the quality of production overall in our latest release,” Roberto reflects having put the finishing touches on his second release alongside Dom.
With outstanding release catalogs individually and two exemplary collaborative efforts to this date, we are excited what 2019 will have in store for NOT LOUD ENOUGH and Dom Bini, and we eagerly await the next opportunity for the two to combine forces once again.
