Center stage of Germany’s growing underground music scene, Krischvn’s sensational, bass-infused style of trap has created an unmistakable buzz since the release of his outlandish debut single ‘Hot Food’ nearly 3 years ago. Building upon this impetus advantageously, a full EP via Quality Goods Records and debut collaboration with Hydraulix through Never Say Die Records depict Krischvn further polishing the intricacies of his production arsenal, solidifying his name at the top of the charts for years to come.
Following suit with its predecessors ‘Acid’ presents a turning point that culminates the foundation Krischvn has laid for his career thus far and a brief glimpse into what the future has in store. “‘Acid’ is one of those trap bangers I started nearly two years ago around the same time as ‘Kief’ and the ‘Plumbum EP,’ I’ve been trying my best to release my music in chronological order of when it was made,” he shares regarding the time-frame of the release.
The product of countless grueling studio hours and infinite revisions, ‘Acid’ has remained a work-in-progress on the back-burner for months, “It was a song I knew was good but wasn’t sure if it fit my new sound,” Krischvn shares of the uncertainty surrounding his latest release.
“The final mastering can often be the most fickle and frustrating aspect of a release. Sometimes, one little change can ruin the entire mixdown, and then it is back to square one. I am always changing sounds last minute, and sometimes it feels like a journey through crappy sounds that I am not happy with. I think I know a track is done after listening to the song without any second guesses or feeling angry about it” – Krischvn
Currently, on the final leg of touring in Australia, Krischvn vows that this will be the first of many sought after releases to see the light of day this year, “I still have big plans and I would love to show the world what I can give. Some IDs people really love are in works to finally be released, I’m so keen for the future.”
