In his latest expedition ‘Leave You’, Heimanu builds upon the collective momentum of his previous releases, while making leaps and bounds within his own production to finally settle on a signature sound of his own. “‘Leave You’ continues on the thematic approach incorporated within my remixes, having a heavy track balanced out with emotional verses and breakdowns is something I’m trying to involve often in my releases,” he shares.
The insatiable energy that the budding Australia producer totes with ease have not come without persistent diligence and constant revision, “Basically it comes down to knowing when and when not to bring in certain elements. Understanding composition techniques like tension and release is just as important as knowing your production tools. When you use both of these together, you have strong control over making a track that feels and sounds how you want it to,” Heimanu discloses regarding the evolution of his craft.
