PREMIERE: QUIET BISON Makes Some Serious Noise With ‘Hyacinth’

by Colin

Future bass is genre considered by many as over-saturated, unoriginal and even dead. Despite this fact there are still a number of producers operating within the realm, breathing new life into it and helping it live up to the future moniker. Once such artist is Portland based QUIET BISON. After receiving support from What So Not last year, QUIET BISON proceeded to unleash his TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS EP which set the internet on fire. Fans and producers alike where amazed at the work as it reminded us of the early promise the genre presented.

Bringing forth the energy from TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS comes QUIET BISON’s first single of 2019 ‘Hyacinth’. An evocative opening sets the scene with phantom vocals lingering over moving synths. A deep breath leads the transition where powerful bass crashes against stirring leads. By leaving just the right amount of space within the drops QUIET BISON adds to ‘Hyacinth”s powerful impact. Creating music that is emotionally moving while still banging is no easy feat, but it seems to be a skill which QUIET BISON has mastered. Stream below and grab the free download.
