Through a series of versatile originals and continuous quality releases such as ‘Help Me‘, ‘Jungle Grave‘ and ‘Playin’ Heroes‘, Stereotype have carved their own path in a saturated world of electronic music. Every release from the talented duo blends elements of typical future bass and trap sounds with fresh new ideas that keeps listeners wanting more. Today, we are delighted to premiere their latest forward-thinking single titled ‘Tokyo’, where the duo depict their perception of the grandiose city into an enchanting piece of music.

The track title is coming from our vision of this city – we’re inspired by Japanese music and culture a lot. Also, it’s a really unique place in comparison to other big cities in the world, that’s why ‘Tokyo’ was like a real version of Narnia for us while we were producing this track,” Stereotype reveal about their inspirations. Soft chords and a soothing melody paint this vivid imagery from the beginning, giving the track an air of splendour and magnificence. This aura is heightened in the drop, as the duo up the energy with added percussion and shiny synths to create a future bass and trap hybrid bound to make its way through sets from the likes of DROELOE and the rest of the bitbird crew, among others.
