Mr. Carmack has been relatively quiet over the last year or two, surely burrowed deep in his studio getting ready to unleash more forward-thinking material as he has done so often in the past. Last weekend saw the trap phenom perform at the prestigious Do Lab at Coachella, where tons of IDs were featured in his set that you can now listen to in full on SoundCloud.
Out of nowhere and in typical Mr. Carmack fashion, the legend has now unleashed an eight-track project titled DEMOLISH, out now on his Forward Thinkers Group account. As he did a few years back with 50+ surprise tracks, these songs are all titled as if a student was saving his final report for the thousandth time. Despite being eight completely different works, there’s no denying the quality production behind each piece. Mr. Carmack’s signature beats, flow and sounds are heard throughout, embodied within eclectic trap, hip-hop and bass tracks.
