Gidexen Makes it Rain with Newest ‘Money’ EP

by Alex Bell

Allan Lory, a French producer that goes by the alias Gidexen, has been pumping out continuous amounts of quality trap music for roughly 4 years now. With multiple releases on Tribal Trap, Trap Wolves, scores of YouTube labels, and being supported by the likes of Alison Wonderland and Jauz, this is surely an artist capable of making big waves with the right release. His newest two track Money EP, released on the notorious trap label Elysian Records is a haven for traditional style trap fans, with ego-feeding vocals by the multifaceted French rapper and DJ KRAK’N.

‘Money’ opens with its title track, a deep dive into hard hitting 808’s and impressive snares. KRAK’N’s vocals create a dark aesthetic, reminiscent of driving alone in a big city at night. This track features quick switch-ups, energetic vocal samples, and clean sound design all around. The second and final track is ‘Slay,’ a much deeper and harder hitting track more focused on an intensive bass line. Between each heavy 808 is an almost hollow few note section that takes the listener on a brief roller-coaster ride before plummeting right back into thunderous clapping. This is a track that will make your speakers quake in all the right ways.

With only a few years of production experience and already making serious heaters of tracks, Gidexen should definitely be one to watch out for in the underground trap community. Check out his Money EP for yourself below!
