It has been a long time coming, but we can now officially say that Herobust is back. Picking up right where he left off with his last original over 10 months ago, the dirty dub aficionado returns with another catchy vocal sample that will set any main stage on fire. Just as he did so famously with ‘WTF,’ Herobust states, “I found myself playing around with small words and phrases in my studio, figuring out how much of a song I could make out of one small recording. But I still wanted it to be something that people could headbang to. BRUH?! is both of these ideas and it had me in the studio yelling ‘BRUH’ along with it.”
Repetitive distortions of the short-but-sweet word set the stage for the banger that follows, as Herobust quickly kicks the engine into high gear with pounding percussion and his distinct metallic signature. Added repetitions of ‘BRUH?!’ soon lead to another quintessential Herobust heater, sending you into a frenzy of booming bass right as the drop hits. Crisp sound design and raw, unadulterated madness ensue for the entirety of the drop, proving that Herobust has not gotten rusty during his hiatus, but that he has only been evolving as a producer.
