Constantly pushing new sounds in the world of bass music, X&G are on quite the hot streak. Just a little over a month after their collaboration with Dog Blood and josh pan, SLC’s finest keep the banger train rolling with their heavy new hybrid track ‘Like It.’
Playing no games, X&G get straight to the point with a heavy-hitting drum line that eventually opens up into an atmospheric wonderland at the 30 second mark. Building us up with some tasty piano and eerie vocals phrasing the song’s title, X&G bring us into a land of inevitable head bobbing and smile inducing beats a minute in. Around the 1:47 mark, X&G switches things up a bit and undeniably keeps us on our toes waiting for more. From there, the halftime drums barge in with a vengeance and knock our socks off before bringing the track back full circle to the original theme.
