In case you somehow missed the drop last week, the wook-bass supergroup known as Trifinity, unleashed some serious heat on us with ‘Dark Triangle.’ For those unschooled in the ways of the Triangle let me try to explain. The Trifinity supergroup is a collaboration project between Yehti, Toadface & Mt. Analogue. They make weird fucking music, and I mean that in the best way possible.
Over the years, their live sets have become a legendary fixture in the bass music community due to their incredible ability to ride that razor thin margin between chaos, theatrics, and pure musical genius into an incredibly strange and introspective trip that stays with you long after the show is over.
Needless to say, the boys have developed what some would call a cult following, and this latest bass heavy offering is certainly going to deepen that rapidly expanding base. This over the top tune begins like a classic riddim-style banger, but nothing is ever that simple with these boys as the tune quickly evolves into a crazier, heavier, weirder, more dynamic version of itself.
So if you like bass music, don’t hesitate. Go grab ‘Dark Triangle’ today. Join us.
