Pigeon Hole and thook are both putting out some of their best music to date, so when they announced a collaboration it was an immediate attention grabber. It’s a collaboration that makes so much sense and is sure to excite fans. They didn’t hold anything back either, going full on experimental bass music and letting each of their styles fuse together in a mind-melting manner.
‘Vertigo’ begins with an eerie atmosphere and dark mood, that slowly builds until the track crashes into a simplistic but heavy hitting drop with a delayed lead that wiggles around the track. The stretched and distorted bass noises that appear in ‘Vertigo’ are absolutely insane and give it a lot more depth. The sweet spot in this track comes at the second drop, where it’s a gigantic chop of all the elements of the track re-arranged and mashed up in a wonky order.
‘Vertigo’ is sure to make listeners heads spin while listening, check it out below.
