Birthdayy Partyy are back with Classic V Future EP. Birthdayy Partyy continue to blend bass house and drum & bass with the classics of electronic music to show off their eclectic taste. Classic V Future has a lot of funky, groovy bass lines that throwback to a classic house style and soundscapes. The vocals are even reminiscent of house vocal style samples like RnB and soul. Here’s a little bit about each track and how they stacked up.

There are a lot of emotions on ‘Revival’ since it brings so many different elements under the crooning vocals of Jenni Rudolph. ‘Revival’ has a lot of epic sounds like a smoking, smoldering bassline that simmers along with the electric synths lines of the melody. These elements carry the piece, giving it a super 80’s/90’s feel but it’s all contemporary in the drops with a hard bight of bass. The break is theatrically dramatic, first highlighting the electric synths by pairing them with Jenni’s emotional vocals, and then building back the layers with the softer drumlines before getting back to the drop of the sharper, modern bass. This track is built for the dance floor and for a close listen of Birthdayy Partyy’s technique as producers.

The debate of all time, ‘Classic V Future’ is aptly named as it titillates between crunchy hard bass and throwback turntable sound bights, breaks, vocals, and transitions. The dust settles in the meaty middle of the track only to kick up the tempo with dubstep wubbs and dubs as well as bouquets of slicing sirens.

Dread MC spits fierce bars on ‘Handle Ya Business’. His aggressive lyrics give the instruction “You better handle ya business/ Nobody Iller/ Real Killer,” before the thunderous bass lines collide. This dark dankness is coupled with light and fluffy strings and a quick, trim drumline to tease up the tension. ‘Handle Ya Business’ has a crisp groove to it that will get your heart rate up and keep your attention from start to finish.

Lesage.Williams’ vocals are velvety smooth with notes of RnB and sprinkles of catchy, pop beats. It weaves in and out of the track’s flirty-fresh melody. ‘Let Go’ is sure of itself- it saunters like a warm summer’s night with your best friends, in your favorite town. The flow fits like a glove but the bass keeps things juicy with its subtle reverb and stable, steady rhythm. I liked the touch of the soft, nostalgic sound clips like the cartoon TV turning on.

Classic V Future is an EP all electronic fans can find their groove on. Listen to the EP below.

Birthdayy Partyy reappears with ‘Supercharged’. The twin brothers, Bryan and Jon Gorecki, are hot on the heels of their latest Dim Mak release ‘Rock Wit It’ with PEACE MAKER! and are ready to make 2021 their year after making the most of quarantine and coming out with ‘Supercharged’ just as things are starting to open for festival season in the USA.

This track is definitely our most significant release to date for a lot of reasons. We called it ‘Supercharged’ because ever since the start of 2021, we’ve felt this energy that motivated the sh*t out of us. Shows are getting ready to start again. We spent the last year refining and perfecting our sound, and we finally started to build the dream team around our project. It really feels like we’re leveling up in all the ways we needed to. – Birthdayy Partyy

‘Supercharged’ opens up to disco-dance floor vibes, with vague chatter in the background and slinky synths that whip up the funky rhythm, but this track is more diverse than that. With a gentle transition into the thick of the beat, the song transforms, and hints at the deeper depths. As the elements break, the vocals warm up the space and carry your attention all the way to the crunchy drop where suddenly you realize, this is pretty dank. The bassline is a fun surprise paired with the more classic and traditional samples and sounds.

From the intricate shifts and penchant for perfecting sound couplings, Birthdayy Partyy seems to have honed their skills and created a unique sound that balances disco flair, slices of synthwave, and plenty of bass to go around. It will definitely hit the spot during a live set just as everyone is getting back to the dance floor and ready to groove to the bassline.

Chi-Town twins Jon and Bryan Gorecki have been making a name for themselves as of late due to the ease at which they trade off genres and excel at every they attempt. Ranging from everything from house, to drum and bass, and now to dubstep, they’ve put on full display their inordinate amount of talent and comprehensive prowess. Playing EDC Las Vegas last year was a major catalyst for the huge amounts of growth they’ve had in the last 18 months, and now they’ve whippe upd further proof of the gigantic steps they’ve taken.

Their latest release ‘The Summit’ is one of their most unique originals yet, featuring tight attention to detail and a wide variety of instruments used that work in conjunction magnificently. Easing you in with an entrancing melody and light horns as in intro, this track puts you mentally on a sharp twisting path on the side of a mountain, arduously trudging your way further up with the top being your one true goal. The snare comes in and gives it this trappy feel, making you feel like Rocky Balboa running up the library steps at the end of his training, conquering this mountain along with the beat. Then, an electric undertone is introduced and grows, building up to a gut-punching dubstep drop that could the Oxford Dictionary definition of “thwack”. Arguably the dirtiest part of this song are the bells that are used as fills before the bass comes back in and ruins your life once more.

The middle hones in on that beautiful bell segment from before, making them the focus of the elongated intro leading to the last drop of the song. Many songs give you the strong urge to fast forward through certain portions of the track due to a noticeable majority of the production time being spent on only the most energetic sections. It’s refreshing to hear a production where the entirety of the piece feels like there was intention behind everything to create a fluid and complex flowing stream of frequency, rather than just shoving in an outro to get back to the proverbial “meat and potatoes”.

If Birthdayy Partyy continue to develop their already noticeable talents, they could be a major force to be reckoned with in years to come. For now, check out ‘The Summit’ for yourself below!

There is a lot of energy in the track, with lyrics like “no questions I do what I want/it’s your birthday you do what you want”, and dramatic pauses in the music emphasize Born I’s intensity. Birthdayy Partyy show off their dexterous mixing skills flashing between sharp breaks, rich trap horns, and slinky synths- plenty of juicy tidbits. If this track sounds familiar it’s because ‘Cake’ has been part of the DJ duo’s set for a while and are only now officially releasing it. I’m sure that was just a taste and now fans can take a bigger bite out of this big bass track.

This quick beat banger has a nostalgic feel to it with power-ballad like vocals and emotional synths. The drops are fairly identical but have crystal clear and silky smooth production; it feels like a cascade into the crunchier and darker synth sounds waiting at the bottom. ‘Love Overdose’ show cases a newer type of sounds that is cropping up in the margins of electronic music and this seems to show how they could be creeping to a more central stage. The lyrics “Your love is like a drug and I’ve been taking way too much” are catchy, eerie, and culturally relatable for the times. It’s a fun break beat track to listen to just because it has such a futuristic palette and journey’s through each compartment.

Birthdayy Partyy’s remix of Paramore’s breakthrough single ‘Misery Business’ brings back not only the memories, but also the epic emotions and catchy flare of 2007’s alternative rock smash. The duo pump up the bass and bring out more of the heavier sounds in Hayley Williams voice. They draw out the drama over the guitar solo and get really dark with the deeper synths, which is uncharacteristic of them.

Taking on this darker edge seems to suit them as they build up great tension throughout the track and kept the tempo of this rumbling bass in step with the vocals. This is definitely a remix that pays homage to the original sentiment of its sample while still being a contemporary banger.

The remix of Deadmau5’s ‘Monophobia’ featuring Australian crooner Rob Swire is a pivot from Birthdayy Partyy ‘s recent streak of throwback remixes.

They have taken Deadmau5’s hit, and infused it with heavier break beats, extracted its tight rhythm, and fostered the power of the lyrics. This seems like an interesting song for the twin brothers to select since the title means to be afraid of being alone. Perhaps this where they found the inspiration and the attraction to the track.

The DJ duo have been blazing a trail for themselves creating hard-electro, party tracks. With plenty of sinuous switch ups, and crunchy wubs and dubs, the brothers have served up a batch of Bass House for fans to sink their teeth into with ‘Monophobia’. Birthdayy Partyy sure know how to tug at our hearts with this one, melding their fresh take on EDM dashing in lasers, and playing up on the tickling melody that carries the progression from section to section.

Birthdayy Partyy’s ‘Confess’ is the breakbeat banger we needed this summer. After playing this bouncy, dark House jam at EDC Las Vegas, and their hometown festival, Spring Awakening, it has been officially released.

FUXWITHIT is always excited to see the freshest faces getting filthy in the booth, and we are pleased to be able to highlight the twin brother DJ duo, Bryan and Jon Gorecki, Birthdayy Partyy. They have been sending tremors through the internet with their fast paced, break-style bangers. The latest off their conveyor belt of bass-heavy shredders, their 14th release since their DJ careers took flight this past January, is ‘Confess’- a jarring, aggressive track riddled with slicing synths, and Raddix’s silky vocals.

‘Confess’ shows off Birthdayy Partyy’s mission, which is party music for party people. Even with the religious-inferring title, ‘Confess’ proves to be aphotic but fun, menacing but apt. With so much going on in the percussion sections, the transitions are glossy, and sleek flowing through each compartment of this track. This is definitely a party anthem for this summer, with its thick build-ups, and drops with creamy centers.
