Originally the song was gonna be called ‘Leapfrog’ and go on my next project I’ve been working on, but as the tape has evolved it didn’t really fit anywhere so it went to the vault. I imagine a frog jumping from each section of the song and those sections feel really springy and bouncy to me lol.”

The second drop is all yojas; a massive bass-heavy section that sees his signature sounds and samples scattered throughout (including my personal favorite: the bird squawk). However, impossible is nothing and indeed seems that finally someone has managed to melt his basshead heart, and let me tell you, it’s nor a graceful lady neither a beautiful maiden, but actually the web legend himself Joji. It looks like the man behind Pink Guy and Filthy Frank has bewitched our british friend with his phenomenal song ‘Will He’. “I actually I hadn’t listened to any of him before” revealed Rohaan, “I’ve know him since his Pink Guy days and then just never actually listened. Then when I was at Duskus flat one day he showed me Joji’s new stuff and my heart ate its self when it heard ‘Will He’. I’ve never un-officially remix stuff, but i had to for this“

Despite Rohaan’s peculiar sound it’s clearly audible, the way it’s adapted and smoothed by the heartbreaking voice of the japanese/australian singer shows it to us under a brand new light. It still expresses a certain aggressiveness but with sophistication, a feature that immediately reminds me of Josh Pan and X&G’s works. On the other side, with some simple expedients, also the original song receives a new twist, that makes it more suitable for a dj set feature, without ruining the original ethereal atmosphere.

As a lover of the original track, it has been awesome to work on my version’ said Sid, and as much he enjoyed producing it, trust us, you will enjoy listening to it twice as much.

There’s no parachute that will save you from this drop of gargantuan proportion. Sid’s minimal treatment
gets rid of both the vocals and the hilarious Sandstorm sample and focuses its attention uniquely on the hardcore part of the original track, which is slowed down to fit into his signature tempo. Then, the obsessive dynamic of Knife Party’s frenzy dies and is reborn as a rough, dirty, hypnotic pace, a lethal combination of industrial extraction that definitely find its best exploitation played live on a proper sound system.
