Jackal Pours His Heart Into Latest Offering

LA-based producer Jackal has had no trouble convincing people of his versatility over the years. From booty-shaking trap in ‘Twerk Star‘ to emotional, vocal-driven beauty in ‘Ice‘, and releases on a variety of labels such as Mad Decent, Buygore, and TWONK, we’re often left wondering what the talented producer can’t do. After a brief hiatus, Jackal has officially made his return in the form of a new single titled ‘Don’t Come Near Me I Am A Monster’ yesterday, released on Lowly Palace.

Jackal wastes no time picking up where he left off, introducing the track with an intricate tribal percussion loop that peaks one’s curiosity from the get-go. An energy-building bridge between the introduction and the drop continue to display how the producer’s sound has developed during his break, before he unleashes an electrifying drop highlighted by radiant synths and crisp drums. An emotional trap and future bass hybrid, ‘Don’t Come Near Me I Am A Monster’ is just as vivid as the title suggests, and the second drop furthers this raw emotion exuded by Jackal.

Brillz, Jackal & Kstylis Revive Twerk With ‘Twerk Star’

Last week a series of cryptic images across some of favourite artists’ socials led us to uncovering that Brillz’s Twonk imprint was set to unleash their first ever ~~compilation~~ Twonkilation. Further building upon the hype comes a massive collab from Brillz, Jackal & Kstylis. ‘Twerk Star’ might be the most massive mid-tempo monster we’ve come across in 2017. The track wastes no time as bouncy drums and looped vocals descend into a slapping section that’s so west coast inspired that you can practically hear the candy paint dripping through your speakers. From there it breaks down and builds back up for an even more maniacal sound that’s guaranteed to have you dropping low. Stream below and look out for Twonkilation Vol. 1 on April 28th.

ATLiens & QUIX put a disgusting twist on Jackal’s ‘Carbomb’

Jackal, ATLiens and QUIX are some of the illest trap producers in the game right now. So when the latter two decide to rework a cut from the first you already know it’s going to be insane. Taking on ‘Carbomb,’ ATLiens and QUIX take the track from the main stage into the dungeons. Where the original was a blend of dark and hard-hitting with a large scale festival sound, the remix is just straight up filth. Jackal – Chinchilla (Woolymammoth Remix)

Jackal’s ‘Chinchilla’ is easily one of the filthiest and most sinister tracks of the past few months. So when Woolymammoth, one of the most inventive producers in the game decided to put his mark on it, we all knew we were in for something special. Wooly doesn’t disappoint, trapping it out while retaining the filthy deep bass feel. The crowd noise during the break adds a sense of anticipation and the final act is a fitting climax of mind numbing dungeon bass. This track is deeper than the ocean floor and just as dark.
