The blending of Wreckno’s love for hip-hop stylings and Griz’s longstanding attention to detail in all facets of his production creates a piece that makes medical waivers a necessity for chronic dislocated hipbones from dropping it low. Flaunting an infectious amount of movement and swing, ‘Medusa’ may turn to bigots to stone, but your feet will be set completely ablaze as the beat takes control. From the opening beat, ‘Signal’ thrusts its immensely clean and refreshing production to all in its vicinity, with swampy low end and a delightful melody. The first drop is all in the hips, making slow, romp-shaking the name of the game. A surprise awaits after the first break down, as Wreckno comes on the mic and absolutely slays a wildly-energetic verse. The next build is exceptionally timed and fits like a glove with the looped and chopped vocals.
