Juelz Unleashes Trap Heater ‘Play This In The Club’

by Steph Contant

It has been an action-packed year for Vancouver-based producer Juelz. Through countless releases, he has displayed his extreme beat-making versatility, jumping between genres such as trap, future bass and pop unlike any other artist. While ‘Bird Flu’ with Landyn is as heavy-hitting as trap gets, ‘The Time Of My Life‘ showcases the musician’s ability to add raw emotion to his crisp productions. Coming off another emotive track titled ‘Blue Crush’ with Samantha, Juelz has decided to switch it up once again and treat fans with more heat before the year’s end.

First played on RL Grime’s ‘Halloween VII‘ mix, ‘Play This In The Club’ came after pesky fans continued to push Juelz to release the track. A hoarse verse is layered over incisive drums and an equally captivating melody to create a tense rise in energy. The addition of a “yeet yaw” loop and a snappy sample bring the track into trap mayhem, with rumbling 808s and the pervasive introductory melody shining at the forefront. Although it’s only two minutes long, ‘Play This In The Club’ is sure to become the secret weapon of trap artists everywhere. Check it out below!
